Waikiki Parade in Hawaii
Aloha Island Wedddings , was excited to be part of the video team to feature the florals works of the many horses for the Parade of King Kamehameha celebration in Waikiki.
The horses started their journey at the Palace and trotted down Kapiolani BLVD along the famous beach coast of Waikiki . The Parade Grand Marshals, Aaron Mahi & John Riggle who also played instruments joining in the festivities . High school music groups from East side of Hawaii Kai to west side of Waianae to the State sponsored Royal Hawaiian Band played many local favorites, also hula dancers and ukulele and guitars performed shows on large semi trucks . Kings and Queens that represented each island and their color rode by on horses elaborately decorated with tropical floral wreaths . This Gala extravaganza was heldon
a Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 9 am to 12pm which celebrates the people of the island
and their King . The Royal Hawaiian band played music for their royalty
featuring song os : Ku’upau a Kanile’a Nā Mele Kūpuna
The start of the parade will begin at King Street in front of King and Kings Palace " Iolani". Horse riders , musicians, Band members and hula dancers will start heading towards Waikiki Beach via Ala Moana shopping center The Final end of the celebration of the parade will go all the way down The Honolulu Zoo and the beginning of Kapi‘olani Park.
