My love story began when I was 13 years old. My husband and I were really good friends in high school. (I was a freshman, and he was a sophomore). For my sophomore year, I went back to Connecticut, and I never heard from my husband until thirteen years later. In 2016, I was at the gym finishing my workout when I saw a guy whose face I recognized from high school; It was my husband. I approached him and asked him how he was doing. We talk for a couple of minutes, and we agree on seen each other the next time to work out together. Six months went by, and he asked me if I would like to be his girlfriend on July 17, 2016. After five years of amazing trips together, we decided to go to Hawaii for the first time on Springbreak of 2021. During our trip, I let my husband know that I had always dreamed of getting married in Hawaii.  After that trip, we went during the summer to Puerto Rico, New York, and Las Vegas. We went to New York; my husband told me that he would like to get married in New York, and we laughed, and I said, well... Now we have a problem. I want to get married in Hawaii. In November 2021, my husband asked me if I would like to marry him in Hawaii in December before the year ends to start 2022 as an official family. And that’s how Hawaii witnessed our marriage, a marriage that I dreamed since I was a little girl.
